Boarding
We offer three full-care boarding options to our customers (main aisle board with a locker, side aisle board with access to a community tack room, and pasture board). At this time, our open boarding spaces are extremely limited and will only be made available to horse owners looking to join the lesson, show, and/or training program. Special considerations may be made if capacity allows (contact us to inquire about current availability and rates).
Your horse is guaranteed one-on-one attention in spite of being part of a larger facility, and we go above and beyond to meet each horse's needs and pay attention to detail. Our philosophy is to get horses outside as much as possible. We are open 365 days a year, 7 days a week, with flexible hours (core hours are 9 am - 9 pm), and the owners reside on premises. All boarders are required to sign a boarding agreement.

What does full care board include?
- Tailored feeding program to meet your horse's individual needs (we do not limit our hay)
- Triple Crown feed (2x daily, up to 5lbs per feeding)
- Locally baled, quality first and second cutting timothy/alfalfa hay (fed throughout the day, unless on seasonal pasture)
- Dispensing of supplements if provided by the boarder
- Fresh, clean water daily, and routine bucket scrubs
- Full access to our facilities
- Access to horse care professionals of the boarder's choice (farriers, vets, dentists, and chiropractors, etc.); we can arrange most of these visits, though it is the boarder's responsibility to arrange and be present should they opt for a professional outside normal Wishing Tree-scheduled visits.
- Removal and replacement of blankets only during extreme temperature swings when the horse's welfare is in question. Routine, full-service blanket changes are an additional charge.
- Rotational turnout/pasturing during the grazing months; in some instances, during periods of ideal spring/summer/fall weather, all horses may spend time outside around the clock -- we watch the weather closely and listen to the horses!
What is NOT included in our board and what services are a la carte?
- Routine blanket swaps when the horse's welfare is not in question from the barn manager's perspective; this service is available for an additional cost.
- Electing a routine (modified turn-out / turn-in) for your horse that does not follow that of the other horses' schedule.
- Extra feedings; for an additional charge, this may be made possible on a case-by-case basis and at the cost of the boarder.
- Storage of client-owned hay or bedding
- Trailer parking; this is possible for an additional charge
- Extended stall rest (beyond 5 days); an additional charge ensures we can accommodate extended stall rest without operating at a loss due to additional resources required to support this.
- Wrapping, bandaging, and medical attention beyond a "first responder" situation; these are also services available for an additional cost.
- Grooming, but we are happy to provide this service for an additional charge!
- Chia seed supplementation - most of our horses get this daily!
